Vichighmarine showcases the original research of students at Victoria High School on the local marine life found off of the shores of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada .  While participating in our Marine Biology 12 course students research creatures housed in our cold-water system and capture images, video, write reports, and create artwork to post on our site.  Our program began in 2007 with a generous donation by the Mitchell Odyssey Foundation.  Since that time our web site and Youtube channel have become a success and are regularly used by educators at our local university, museum, and by people around the globe.
